Kazakhstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a transcontinental country located primarily in Central Asia, with a smaller portion in Eastern Europe. It is the world's largest landlocked country. Kazakhstan borders Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, and also has a coastline along the Caspian Sea. Its capital is Astana.
